Why I coach

I became a coach because I love sharing what I’ve learnt. Having trained for over a decade in Muay Thai and
Kickboxing and entering the ring a handful times, becoming a coach felt like the natural next step. My goal? To make training fun, approachable, and empowering for everyone, whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills. Passing down knowledge and skills is what it's all about!

  • Sharing my passion
Having trained for so long, I love the opportunity to share what I’ve learnt in the past 10+ years of training. I believe knowledge should always be passed on to the next.

  • Helping Others Grow
It’s amazing to watch someone gain confidence and improve, no matter how big or small the progress. I’m here to support you every step of the way.

  • Promote Healthy, Balanced Training
Fitness should feel rewarding and enjoyable. I aim to help you build strength and technique in a way that feels challenging and fun.

  • Creating a Supportive Environment

Coaching isn’t just about improving skills—it’s about helping people grow, both physically and mentally. I want to create a space where everyone feels welcome, supported, and motivated to improve at their own pace.

My Approach

Everyone has different reasons for training, whether it’s to get fitter, gain confidence, or learn a new skill. I start by understanding what you want to achieve, whether it’s fitness, confidence, or skill development, and create a plan that works for you.

1. Your Journey Begins Here
2. Focus on Technique

Mastering the basics is key. We’ll focus on proper form and technique to make sure you’re building skills that are effective and safe. By reinforcing good habits early, you’ll avoid bad habits that can slow down your progress. Whether it’s footwork, punches, or kicks, we’ll fine-tune each detail to build a solid base.

3. Fun and Motivation

Training should feel exciting and rewarding, not like a chore. I aim to make every session enjoyable by mixing things up—whether it’s drills, technique work, or conditioning. This variety helps keep you engaged and motivated, no matter how tough the workout gets.

When I’m Not Coaching

Whilst I also coach in other sports such as Football and Calisthenics, what I truly value to do in my free time is staying active and trying as many new sports/activities as possible, but of course going on an occasional night out for a few beers never hurt someone's training routine! ;) Right...?
